World Cup Draw


Today in draw for qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 Macedonia fell in very difficult Group A with Serbia, Croatia, Belgium, Scotland and Wales, this is difficult draw due to the fact that Macedonia was in fifth hat in the drawing witch is held in Rio de Jenairo today, one thing is clear we will play very interesting and difficult matches especially against former Yugoslav brothers Serbia and Croatia.We always played good games against Serbia and Croatia with full stadiums and lot of tension. After long time again we have to play with Belgium and will again have the opportunity to welcome the Scottish fans in Skopje, in the last hat we got the strongest possible team, the selection of Wales. I wish good luck for Macedonia and i hope we will play the best ever qualification for the World Cup and we will make big surprise. Good Luck to Macedonia in this World Cup qualification.

Macedonian League

Today is start od new macedonian football season , european appearances suggest that the jubilee 20th Macedonia League will bring a greater fight  for championship titles, and will not be easy to Shkendija to defend tittle .Rabotnicki pushed as the most serious competitor. The team with young and ambitious coach Goran Petreski, with excellent conditions for training and no financial worries, imposed bid to recover the title in City Park. The young team of Rabotnicki deserve any respect with win over Trans Narva, Juvenes Dogana, and against each other in the first Anortozis duel League qualifier Europe, in the battle for the title is also Metalurg, always on top, but never on him. The club with great financial opportunities each year remains unfinished, although there are quite a quality composition.And finaly Vardar with his army fans, because ages Vardar is Macedonian football brand. Today i want to talk about commentators, i hate when i watch good football game but with bad commentators, i always love to have good commentator in matches when i watch sports especially football, is always satisfaction to have good commentator and watching the game is much better and entertaining. However, let us look at those and see what are doing best commentators worldwide. Older certainly remember the phenomenal transmissions or Mladen Delic and Milojko Pantic in former Yugoslavia, in Macedonia my favorite commentator is Zlatko Kalinski i can't find other good commentator as him, is many good  commentators in Macedonia but no one at level to Zlatko Kalinski, in Europe is many good commentators but my favorite foreign commentator is Tiziano Crudeli, i love when i see his love to AC Milan when Milan is winning. Only Macedonian club remained in Europa League Rabotnicki Skopje in the third round in qualifying for Europe League in the first match against Anortozis Larnaka from Cyprus before 8.000 viewers noticed a big away win оf 0-2, Rabotnicki goals were scored from Milovan Petrovic in 71 min and Krste Velkovski in 88 min, this result has a great chance for Rabotnicki for progressing  in the next Europa league final play off round before start of group phase, rematch will be played after one week in Skopje in stadium "Philip II", i hope for great success for Rabotnicki in rematch аnd full stadium "Philip II' in Skopje on fourth аugust with many people to support Rabotnicki. Macedonian Super Cup

Today 24.7.2011 is historical day in Macedonian football history, today was played the first ever Macedonian super cup final match, winner of last year 2010/2011 season Macedonian league winner Shkendija Tetovo against winner of Macedonian cup last year Metalurg Skopje. Shkendija beat Metalurg with 2-1 and become the first winner ever of Macedonian super cup trophy, scorers for Shkendija goals was Mustafi in 5 min from penalty kick and Sali in 85 min, scorer for Metalurg was Stevanovic in 90 min with wonderful goal from a freekick. Metalurg had enough chances to get to leveling, but failed to do so and two penalties that the judge ruled them out Match was played in biggest Macedonian stadium "Philip II" in Skopje. Bye and come back for more Macedonian sport news.

Macedonian Clubs

Аfter second matches which are played in the qualifiers of the UEFA Champions League and Europe League Rabotnicki Skopje is the only Macedonian club who continued competition in the European Cups,Rabotnicki won second leg in Europa League against Juvenes/Dogana from San Marino with 3-0 aggregate 4-0, in next round Rabotnicki will play against Anortozis from Cyprus. 
European adventure of Macedonian champion Shkendija lasted very short -just one circuit. Tetovo "red-black" is defeated by the best Serbian team Partizan, who celebrated with the second leg 1-0 in Skopje from the second Qualifying round for the Champions League. Despite the great desire of players Shkendija Euro debut scene complete without honorable goal, as well as in Belgrade and National Arena "Philip II" failed to shake the network of "black and white" that the total scorе 5:0.Shkendija missed many chances and goal did not come.
And the last Macedonian team in Europa League Metalurg Skopje is eliminated after  lost in second match  against Lokomotiv Sofia from Bulgaria with 3-2 (first match in Skopje ended 0-0),Metalurg had lead of 0-1 and 1-2 but  but failed to maintain the advantage,one of the main reason for this are the red card of Memedi in 55 min.Metalurg played well but could not defend well with player less and accepted goals in 85 and 89 min.

Darko Pancev or Goran Pandev? Who is the best player on history of macedonian football?
-Darko Pancev started his football career in Vardar Skopje in 1982 where he developed into one of the best strikers in Yugoslav league. Yugoslav league in the time it was one of the strongest league in Europa, Pancev in 1983-1984 season is league top scorer. And then in 1988 he moved to Red Star Belgrade where he played best football part of his career, he scored 94 goals in 91 appearances and he win a Champions Cup and Intercontinetal Cup and in 1991 wins a Golden bout award with 34 goals in one season, then he signed for Inter Milan and from that moment his career go to down fall. He played little time for Macedonia and Yugoslavia.

  -Goran Pandev started his football career in Belasica Strumica where he show his talent and in 2001 Inter Milan buy him but he didn't play and Inter let him go on loan to Spezia and Ancona where he show his talent. Then Pandev go to Lazio Rome where he scored 60 goals in 177 match and prove as one of the best attackеrs in Italy and Europa, but in 2009 Pandev had contract dispute with Lazio, Pandev wins legal battle ordering Lazio to release Pandev from his contract. He sign again for Inter Milan in 2010 as a free agent where he wins all: Italian league, Italian cup, Champions League and Intercontinental Cup (scored Inter first goal in win against Mazembe in final) He still plays at Inter, For Macedonia so far he scored 23 goals in 57 games. Macedonian government with a large donation reconstruct Macedonian largest and most beautiful stadium opening ceremony of the stadium now with a capacity of 35,000 spectators was the match between Macedonia and Republic of Ireland on 4.6.2011 who unfortunately  Macedonia lost by 0-2. Goran Pandev

Macedonian best football player Goran Pandev is in big dilema, hi is in the risk of losing his starting place at Inter Milan if hi don't accept transfer to Genova for the trade for Rodrigo Palacio, Pandev still refuses to go to Genova where hi will get lower salary his current salary at Inter is 3.5m euros,this amount can't be allowed in club as Genova, Genova pays much lower wages. Today macedonian football is in bad crisis , Macedonia football team is in 98 place in FIFA ranking badest ranking in last 20 years, Macedonian former coach Mirsad Jonuz just got sacked , Macedonian football federation in charge with president Haralapie Hagiristeski is look for new coach but is the coach really main reason with this bad moment, maybe players is no good compared with other team, maybe Macedonians should invest in youth sector before expected good results, maybe players is no psychologically ready for big results maybe is always bad luck.
